Step 1: Determine the size of the wall art

One of the most frustrating things you will encounter as a designer is finding a piece of wall art that fits well with the specific space you’re designing. That is one of the biggest advantages of being a custom art studio is, when working beside the interior designer, we can help determine what size painting will be properly aligned for the space requested by the client.

Step 2: Choosing a subject matter

Another great advantage of being a custom art studio is the ability to deliver a piece of art the client truly wants as well as develop a piece of art that fits perfectly with their existing home decor.

For example, your client wants a coastal bird that has a specific color scheme and fits well with their home, then DeChellis Decor can satisfy that request. From a realistic coastal bird to gorgeous billowing clouds, DeChellis Decor can paint it all.

In the example shown to the left, the client requested a white heron standing on a bed of lily pads. The client wanted the painting to hang above their couch and to match their current surrounding decor.

Step 3: Approve your masterpiece

Once the dimensions of the space, subject matter and color palette has been discussed, we will begin the painting process. Depending on the size and complexity of the request will determine the timeline of the painting, but it typically takes 1-3 weeks to create. Great quality takes time but this will be a piece of art that will last a lifetime.

Step 4: Custom Framing

After finishing the painting, we will build a custom frame that matches the decor. And if you’re a local designer, we can hang the painting ourselves. The ultimate objective is to free up the time and efforts of the interior designer, so that they may focus on more important task with the client.
